Gammick “Sex” Scandal, Right Wing v. NRA, Wildlife Commission Feud

Gammick “Sex” Scandal:  District Attorney Dick Gammick has done it again.  Taken something that should be a moment of justice and squandered it.  How so?  During criminal proceedings for a rape and murder case, Gammick compared hearing a verdict to sex.  Yes, you read that correctly.  In a case where someone was brutally raped and murdered Dick Gammick said he got some sexual style satisfaction.  Disgusting.  The comment did not rise to the level of punishment from the court but the judge did note that his comment could threaten the voice of the jury by giving James Biela an appealable issue for his death sentence.  Read the judge’s decision regarding Gammick’s disgusting gaffe here.

Right Wing v. NRA: The NRA is considering endorsing Harry Reid for November and this has the right wing all pissed off.  Reid has been very good to the NRA’s interests while in power but I guess the right wing thinks the candidate who supports taking Reid out with Second Amendment remedies deserves the nod instead.  Wouldn’t the NRA endorsing Angle directly contradict their focus on safety?

Wildlife Commission Feud:  Out in Elko a battle between a Wildlife Commissioner and a former commissioner is heating up.  Ethics complaints and accusations of abusing the system to try to oust the sitting commissioner.  With comments like “effective equivalents of step brothers” and “wants to talk about my mamma” this story is sexy even if its below the larger Nevada Press radar.
