Angle’s Support Collapses in Washoe County

Angle’s Support Collapses in Washoe County:  The new LVRJ poll is out and everyone is focusing on the 44/37 total poll but some of the most interesting results are from the crosstabs.

In order for a Democrat to win statewide in Nevada he/she must ensure good turnout in Clark County, keep the losses in the cow counties low, and win Washoe County.

According to the poll, Angle’s support in Washoe County dropped from 51 percent to 35 percent.  If this is accurate and Angle doesn’t do anything to shift these number closer, these results are fatal to the Angle campaign.

Washoe County is Sharron Angle’s home county as well as mine (in fact, she lives only a few miles away from me).  I had a hard time believing that someone in my neighborhood could have such a wild view of the economy and the role of government.  Our neighborhood is full of construction rights now (government jobs actually putting people to work) and foreclosures based on shady loans can be found every once and a while.  Why would Sharron Angle have such elitist views of the spoiled unemployed and the useless of government?  She is what’s wrong with Kansas, or in our case Nevada.  If you read the book Whats the Matter with Kansas, you will be able to understand why Angle is so fond of policies that work directly against her neighbors.  If she doesn’t figure out that she is way out of touch with Washoe County, her race is over.
